A weblog of entries from the English translation, by historian Encarnacion Alzona, of the collected "Diarios y Memorias" of Jose Rizal. Entries will be posted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays Tuesdays and Thursdays. Encarnacion Alzona's 1961 annotations, which were mostly drawn from Wenceslao E. Retana's Vida y Escritos del Dr. Jose Rizal (Madrid: Victoriano Suarez, 1907), will be supplemented with additional annotations from secondary sources as well as with letters that Rizal wrote to family, friends, and fellow propagandists.
